Hey there, I just found out this forum, thanks to Shane McRetro, I'm a French 33 years old handsome guy (well, I hope so) and I've recently found back my old Game boy in a drawer. As a musician/cinematographer, I used it in a recent videoclip (if you're curious, here you go : https://goo.gl/Ym4oMO ) then I instantly felt sick and kept on buying all the games I had and ever wanted as a youngster. So I've build a good small collection (and got poor) and the sickness spread to the SNES... So I ordered one, and bought two others (one working and one junked) before receiving the first one... Since then I've accumulated 5 consoles, and repaired 2 of them for 0,50€ (replacing 1.5A resistors) but I still have 2 non-working Snes... So I'm here ! I also plan to customize some gameBoys (backlight screens) and to build a custom GameBoy for retro gaming (after seeing some youtube videos), but I'still waiting for the RaspBerry PiZero to be available again... Wow, I didn't expect to tell my whole life, I better should stop here

I had been bit by the bug when i tried to sell my turbo grafx 16cd unit on here. ended up with more consoles than i started with..... its OK we deserve it at our age! lol check your post on the SNES issues. Bonjour et bienvenue! I'm not a Frenchy but live in the French West Indies so it's nice to meet more French folk, you'll feel quite at home here. It's like a hospital ward for those bitten by 'the bug'. There is, as yet, no known cure other than complete collections so embrace the poverty and enjoy the encouragement from this site
