Help capture device to record and upload to YouTube without a computer

    Hey guys I looking for a capture device to capture video footage via HDMI and uploade it to directly to YouTube or edit it on my iPhone an uploade that way without the use of a computer.

    I don't know about iPhones but on iPad you could try using an Avermedia Live Gamer Portable, SD card and the camera connectivity kit for iPad.

    Both these devices record h.264 MP4, which I know can be played back on IOS.

    IIRC the camera kit lets you import to camera roll as well, you may need to make a DCIM folder on the card first for the videos to show up..

    You could probably talk a raspberry pi into doing that, but alas, it's still a computer.
