Hey Guys I'm having some problems with a site of mine, mostly with the fact that it seems slow to pull up for quite a few people: http://www.mytrailertube.com/ A lot of people have said that when trying to watch a video it's not streaming fast enough and several times during the video it stops and you have to wait for the stream to catch up. I've noticed that pulling up the main page has progressively gotten slower over the past few months so now it takes about 5-10 seconds just for the main page to finish loading. Could you guys visit the site and tell me how long the main page takes to load, and watch a video or two and tell me if it's able to play without stopping? I'm going to contact the host but I don't want to send a general "site is slow" email. I want to say that X number of people tested it out and X number of people are having problems. It's a VPS so it shouldn't be having these issues... Thanks!
Works fine for me. i have 8 mbps dl speed and everything seems to be working out fine. I hope this helped. I tested 3 videos.
Everything loaded quickly for me, I'm on a 6mbps DSL line. Main page took about 2 seconds, first trailer (Watchmen Trailer 2) loaded in 25 seconds, second trailer (Lost in Translation) loaded in about 10. Neat site by the way, bookmarked for later.
So there was no problem with the videos pausing to stream in the middle of them? Did they start playing after a second or two, or did you have to wait for them to begin? Thanks!
Site worked fine for me on 8MB Broadband, Love the GTA San Andreas ad forgot how good that was. Think i'll go listen to some Guns 'n' Roses now :icon_bigg
100MBP Hikari Fibre line here. First time The page loaded fairly fast (about 4 seconds) but the actual video streaming was slow plus twice I got a page error thanks to the page not loading. I tried the Lost n Translation trailer. Second Time The site loaded pretty much instantaneously. The same trailer was tried again and loaded successfully with no problem at all. Seems like your sever is a bit on the dodgy side. They could be doing some maintenance I guess. Yakumo
Both videos started playing almost immediately and played all the way through without any problems. I also checked out the GTA: San Andreas trailer afterwards and it loaded and played fine as well.
