does anyone knows a good MSX emulator for Dreamcast? i want to be able to save on vmu, play MSX 2 titles (mostly konami msx2 games), i want it to be fast and sound compatible. Is this thing possible? :-D anyway, i only saw two MSX dc emulator at this moment while searching on google: DreamMSX and FMSX, any recommandations? also, i need a good and simple burning program for linux to burn all this (as well as an iso creator to fix the emulator and roms together....and all this autobootable!) the only ones i have on my computer right now is K3B, Nautilus and GNOMEtoaster, any good? thx alot! cahaz
Haven't heard much news about DC MSX emulators. Might be quite the challenge to get one working full speed on it anyway - MSX2 games with swanky sound like MSX-MUSIC barely run at 60fps with openMSX on my PIII 933MHz. Though saying that most MSX games only run at 30fps anyway, if not slower. Just don't expect Aleste to look any good!
i heard on many website (well, i readed) that dreamMSX actually runned at full speed and have full sound support. i don't know if you can save on your VMU nor if you can emulate the MSX2 though, and that's the problem. I would love to play those MSX classics again on my Dreamcast... Metal Gear..... Metal Gear:Solid Snake..... Final Fantasy 1..... Nemesis.... :-(
