Hi everyone, I've been looking everywhere on how to connect to a Cisco IPSec VPN from an Android device without success, the few solutions I found were a couple of apps that needed the device to be rooted, and with superuser, but that is not an option (due to company policies).

Does anyone have any idea on how to achieve this?

At work, I have a Macbook Pro and a Samsung Galaxy Tablet 10.1 with Android 3.1, I tried the dumb wild guess of connecting to the Cisco IPSec VPN through the Mac, and activating the Internet Share via WiFi, and connecting the Samsung Galaxy Tablet to the internet via the mac's shared internet (wifi), in the hope that the VPN tunnel extended to the device, but so far no luck.

I've read elsewhere that this is a nightmare, but anyways, maybe someone around here has any advice.

    Thanks in advance.

    Well, fixed!

There was no way of doing it directly through the tablet, but I could do it by routing the VPN through the macbook, I just had missconfigured the settings.

Anyway, this might come in handy for anyone who comes across the same headache.
