Well, yeah, this pretty much won't work, as I don't have the dongle for it, nor do I know how a relating license file looks. If I'd atleast had some info of the latter, there would probably still be a possibility to run it. Major problem with creating a bogus license file for it is the fact that this is the only 'generic' version that was ever released for windows. The rest was split into basic / extreme licensing and thus the .lic file contents differ. Also, apparently this version uses the same grey Rainbow SuperPro dongle that lightwave did, while the rest went with the black 'button battery flexid', and later a green usb during the Avid times (if all the info I've found is correct). So, case closed for now, I guess. I could probably use version 3.5, if I had an sgi, since that doesn't require a dongle, but considering the ridiculous prices they have, I don't see that happening any time soon. Guess they'll just have to hang around my shelf. A bit sad though, as 3.5 has built in Playstation & Saturn support.
