hello, actually, I need some expert, knowledgable gamers for this one. I recently found a copy of the very rare Mortal Kombat 2 for PSone. (yes, its real, not a beta as thought on the net) anyways, I noticed that Probe developed this version of the game for Acclaim as well (since they almost did all of the other versions). For this, I figure that there is probably some cool secrets or at least a code of two (maybe a DULLARD cheat menu) included in this. I also wondered myself why would Acclaim release an english version of MKII for PS in Japan (where MK isnt that popular) a year after MK3 (PS version) came out, rather than as a title for the other terrorities? I tried to research the company (in hopes of contacting a member or employee) to find out that their web site is literally gone (maybe they fell with Acclaim?) So, to you experts, I have two questions: 1. How would one try to contact a staff member or programmer of the former Probe? 2. If not, is there anyway to crack the PS programming to see if there is a code within the game? Thanks
I last heard ex-Probe head Fergus "Fergality" McGovern was running a handheld dev. company called "Netherock" - not sure if they are still active. Previous to that his company was called "Hotgen" but that was liquidated in ?2002/2003?.
