ok so I bought this amd 290 off ebay with "burnt caps" Long story short, card has corrosion (which the seller says is just from oven trick :/), I clean up the corrosion and will need to reflow some parts. However there a problem, there are a few SMD caps missing ! :/ Does anyone know what the values are for these caps or better yet, anyone know where I can find the service manual haha Caps are: 2718 and one next to TP11 Should I ask for a refund EDIT: Ok So I've stripped the card down, washed it and it boots. I am however getting artifacts on the screen from boot, this tells me maybe ram is to blame?
