    Hey guys :)

I'm struggling with the Sega CD drive to understand what's the matter.
I've swapped the round rubber thing (have no idea what's called in english) that became oval (egg shaped) from years of use.

    Still this problem persists:

Clearly it's too sensitive. I'd probably think it is something to do with the jutter of the tray, when you press the tray in manually it will have less jutter, so that might be a clue.

I solved mine by replacing the rubber belt with a new one and adjusting the door switches which tells the system door is closed or opened, 2 switches.

    I fixed it :)

Used white lub (for plastic materials) and after a few tries it's working flawless!

You used it for the gear?

    White lithium grease right?

That stuff is liquid gold. Worth every penny. :)

Be careful not to spray it on elastic bands or the gears they bind with or you will find it slips and then won't move the tray at all.

They're drive belts, not elastic bands (or round rubber things! hehe)
