Hello i am wanting to use Mupen360 but cant because i dont have xell. Is there anyway to get it? I have looked for hours trying to find it and need help :moody:
not sure why you would want to ruin a dev kit by putting xell on it - just buy a xbox on 14719 or lower then install rgh
I wish, but I'm afraid stock devkits only boot .xex files. Anything related to Xell/Libxenon runs on an entirely different kernel. At this point, the old King Kong exploit seems to be the easiest way to boot to Xell on a Devkit. There are .xex files that you can use to launch some variant of Xell from the devkit dashboard. I never got Xell itself to boot anything, though. It's a shame, too. Some of the homebrew designed with Libxenon is looking pretty impressive. :/ EDIT: It's called HvxBootOS, from TheFallen93 (who's also a member of this board), and at this point it does successfully boot Linux. It seems that everything to make this happen is there.
You can use Xell Launch, that will launch Libxenon homebrew fine. I can confirm it works fine on a Jasper kit.
HvxBootOS will launch Xell. You have to be on a < 205xx recovery though. I can confirm that it'll launch Mupen360. I've used it on my main Jasper XDK, got most of the way through Ocarina of Time over a few weeks before I lost my save file. -Doom
