Been looking forever, zero luck. Anyone know of any sites/leads on finding something like this? Considering I can never find an fz-35s / nobody seems to be able to confirm if arcade games can be loaded on the device, I'd like to get M2 hardware in the form of Polystars. Seems like the most interesting game to actually get a chance to use the hardware lol (minus playing Evil Night way back in the day at an arcade....had I only known how rare of hardware I was playing on at the time!) Any help on M2 hardware would be greatly appreciated. I've pursued so many avenues which didn't pan out
From what I understand, arcade games won't run on a FZ-35S. If you want to buy an arcade board, you should make a post in the WTB forum. Also, you would probably have better luck finding what you're looking for on a site dedicated to arcade stuff. I used to play Total Vice. I really liked that game at the time.
I saw total vice once years ago when it was new but never played it. It’s shocking there isn’t a single YouTube video let’s play of the game. It’s an enigma. Not sure if not many cabinets were made or what. I didn’t think the fz-35 would play them. Wish it would. I’ve almost purchased one a few times but talked myself out of it considering it’s big $$ for the few bits of software that have leaked. I know of a bunch that exist, but none of my inquiries have panned out to get additional software
I don't know why that is. I don't think it's really that uncommon, but then again I haven't ever seen another cab other than the one I used to play on. One thing I remember about that game is that the upper part of the gun (I forget what it's called) would actually move backward and it produced feedback, like a real gun. I thought that was pretty cool. I think that was Total Vice - maybe I'm confusing that with another game. It definitely had feedback of some kind.
Beast Busters Second Nightmare had some solid feedback in its guns as well. I’d love to find a total vice board at some point as well as a polystars and record a run through. One day haha How did you get around lightgun requirement for evil night btw?
Me? I don't own that game, or any M2 hardware for that matter. I think the only way to play arcade light gun games is with a light gun. I think you could theoretically play it without a cab as long as you're using a CRT with RGB inputs that has the same resolution and you have the original gun.
