Help me I can't sleep

    Have a shower before going to bed. That always works for me.

    Download The Hobbit audiobook and hear it while lying in bed. You will be asleep pretty soon and dreaming about hobbits.

    One good thing is the series of all the David Attenborough documentaries.

    His soothing voice is the best option for sleeping issues.

    I brought my copy of the "Life" series to Tchoin when he had mono, last january, and it worked marvels with him (he was in a lot of pain and distress)

    I've been having problems getting to sleep, too. Melatonin seems to help a little. Reading right before I go to bed also seems to help; in fact, as of late, if I don't read before I go to bed it usually takes like an hour longer to get to sleep than if I do.

    I think the reason reading helps me is because it helps clear my mind. It distracts me from all the crap I'm worrying about and holds my attention in a way that isn't too energetic or vivid. It kind of levels out my mind. That's just me, though, I don't know if that would help anyone else.
