No i've mounted the chip directly on the programmator! https://www.dropbox.com/s/qpprk26gstvou09/LINEcamera_share_2014-02-05-23-28-05.jpg https://www.sivava.com/img-product/EPROM_Pro_05/350_Eprom-programmer-pcb50b.jpg
ok, so because i'm not capable to program this pic, i've resoldered the 12c508a that i've found in this psx. it were soldered with only 4 wires. the point of solder are the same of the multimode 3 so i've soldere the others 3 point. the console boot original and backup, but if i try to boot ntsc original games (winning eleven 4 and dino crisis) after the game boot, it show me an alert with some phrase all in japanese. what does it mean? maybe the code into this pic isn't mm3?
Also my friend in italy sended me some years ago a mayumi v4 on a 12f508 and word like a charm So you can use 12F series that can be reflashable
could you suggest me any rewritable chip easy to find? could you suggest me other mods that i can do ?
so i've ordered an 12f629 and flashed with a code from here http://www.gatchan.net/2012/08/27/multimode-pour-12f629/ this is the installation: it doesn't work https://www.dropbox.com/s/v0y4vwdfb3by5u9/DSC_0002.jpg i've flashed it with Willem programmer. it asked me something about info on oscilletor: i'd like to respond yes or not?
Try finding more install pics and check if they match what you have. http://img.ebw.gr/img2/9093/PSX7000.JPG << One example with a different point 4, worth a try. I really recommend buying a batch of 12f509 or 12f508a though, as I never had an issue with these, the code for them and the install pics available.
