I have a neogeo pocket here that i practicly got for free, the only problem is the screen isnt 100%, when the neogeo logo appears on the dark background i can see horizaontal lines and the dark color tends to blurr. When playing games however it is even worse, the image is prety blurred and i can see a lot of horizontal lines especialy with pac-man. I already openend it up but didn't see any damage. Is there anything i can do to adjust the screen or is a simple case of a semi-dying screen.
Sounds like a dead LCD to me. A friend's NGPC did a similar thing, he never got it to work. Check that the cable connections are all secure, it could also be a dodgy connection. Replacement cover lenses are available, but LCD screens aren't, that I could find.
If you want, send me pacman and I will extensively test it on mine... just to make sure its not the game :-D

Open up the battery cover and look at the bottom part of it, there should be a hole, inside that hole is a little thing to ajust the LCD with a tiny screw driver., darker/brighter...try that out.
