Help Needed with a recovery disc

    Hi,
I'm trying to update an Xbox Debug Kit with a burned XBOX 1 XDK Final B???? Recovery Disc.
The machine boots, the disc spins while the Xbox logo is displayed, and then the dashboard appears.
Someone knows if I need to make something special to make this disc run?
    Thanks in advance,
    Joe.

This isn't that beta live debugger you bought a while back, is it? That won't run the standard xdk.

Yeah, the Beta Live Debuggers are more or less retail machines as far as most users are concerned. Getting an XDK to load on one is quite the feat. :)

No this one is a regular green unit.

are you using an iso to burn the disc? If so, don't use nero. Nero can't handle xbox iso's gracefully. Use something like Alchol 120% to burn the disc.

Aside from that, just make sure the DVD drive is good on the debugger.

Oh, and your xdk is older than dirt... you might want to try something a bit newer like 5849.

I think that the XDK is very old.
    Thanks a lot ProgrammingAce.

I never had one problem with Nero and Xbox. I used it for last 3 years. Now I moved to ImgBurn, which is IMHO all around better, but still, Nero was great (at least Nero 5.5.*, dunno about 6.* and 7.*).
