So I have a Ready to Rumble Round 2 BETA I dumped and want to share, I asked about this last time and got not results so i thought I would try again. I dumped a Fighting Vipers BETA and I did both GDI at the same time and FV2 was a breeze but R2RR2 has four SFD file, video's I know badly encoded one's at that so let's not touch them please besiides it is but 200mb of data anyhow. The room I need to make to fit on a 80 minute rip and post for everyone is a file ending in .RAT and if opened in a hextool (the extent of my use really) I see nothing but 000000000000 all over the place and then all of a sudden it looks like DC content we get the made by SEGA and stuff you normally see when hacking the IP.BIN any I want to unppack the RAT and repack the file as I know one can't just highlight and hut delete as that takes all the fun out of it now doesn't it? Anyhow I made a selfboot on 99 minute CDR but man those video's should just not be there. So if anyone could be so kind as to point me into the right direction I am sure I will find my way in a round about way. I just need a littel push in the right direction and I will gladly share my game with you all as I did Fighting Vipers.
Usually if you encoded the video in variable bitrate and put the audio in mono, you should save some important space without a noticeable quality loss. As for the special file, its no standard so it'd require some work to make it works. Good luck, FG
Yea I have to downsample to 22khz mono which sucks just to get it to fit on a 99 minute disc and the video sucks so badly I don't want to touch it as my 99 minute rip looked like trash and sounded the same way. Guess this will just remain as a gdi for preservation of the BETA.
