    Hi.

Didn't know where else to post it, so I just went with general gaming.

I recently purchased Daze Before Christmas cartridge only from a UK eBay seller.
Just received the item today, and unfortunately I can't help but think it is a copy/repro, but I need some help to confirm.

I've been all over Google, but couldn't find any images of the cartridges back. Mine says "Assembled in U.S.A." which afaik only
Genesis-games says. All my other PAL MegaDrive games says "Made In Japan", "Made In China" or "Made in UK".

Can anyone provide some information? Any knowledge, images, etc will be appreciated.

    Thanks.

After doing a bit of digging, the game was only released in Australia, so your other PAL games might not be a great reference (I don't have any PAL MD games, except an EA cart I got for a pound).

The cart should look like this in the front: http://segaretro.org/File:DazeBeforeChristmas_MD_AU_Cart.jpg

I only have one european mega drive game (it's french in fact) and it says it was made in Japan.

Can't you open the cart to check the board? I think somewhere exists a picture from the original board for you to compare to yours.

Thanks for you effort, but I already knew about the Australian-only thing.
I can't really compare it to the front, as the label is all worn to non existent, which is why I've tried to find a picture of the back :)

Yeah, I could if I had a gamebits screwdriver, unfortunately I don't. I should propably buy one anyway. I managed to find a picture of the inside, but only from a prototype-cartridge. Not sure if it's anything like the final release though :/

by the way i know at least one mega drive game requires a torx 10, and the gamebit games require the larger screwdriver

Buy these kind of games in the summer. It is cheaper and a fake is unlikely then.

Take some pictures of the board. We can almost certainly tell if its a repro or not from that.
