Help with original xbox xecuter 3 with LCD face panel.

I bought a original xbox console with xecuter 3 chip and the xecuter face plate with bank switches
and L.C.D panel on it and XBMC with samsung 350gb hard drive.
does anybody know anything about these?
as I know the LCD panel can be changed to have all info on it but I don't know how as mine only says xecuter 3 on it
Also has anybody info on how to install coin ops 5 on it as I recently bought it allready compressed on 9 disc but I need to do a transfer protocol or something.

any help would be grateful

 

If you hold WHITE down on bootup, you can edit the LCD panel text from the BIOS options.

Also do you happen to know how to fix these? As I have a crystal xbox with the xecuter 3
and switch panel but it just boots to normal dash , it is the solder less version.
i was to to solder it in but I'm no good at that , I also heard that these don't work on this version console.
any idea what could be wrong?

 

If I understand you correctly, the modchip isn't functioning at all? Or does a blue light display on the front panel?

For ease of use, download a tool called Slayers Auto-Installer or Auto Installer Deluxe. This will setup your XBOX with modchip configuration, then later you can install coin-ops. I've got no experience with coinops, but I don't see it being any different to install other homebrew by FTP.
