Hi, I need some help building a PAL Gamecube fullset collection. Games are the UK version (there's a green triangle on the cover's spine), but very few games didn't get an UK release, so i collect them as european version (there's a pink triangle on the cover's spine). To make things a little easier, i divided them by letter. To make things short, I need to know what every game contains (promotional flyer, vip points, registration card, etc) and if i'm missing any game. Note: - promotional flyers and registration cards have a code on them. - games with a pink symbol in front of their names are european. Letter M 43 games according to wikipedia. I couldn't find 2 of them: Madden NFL 07 and MLB Slugfest 20-03. I belive these games didn't get a Pal release (someone please confirm). Also Mecedes Benz World Racing is actually just World Racing. Another thing: why Mario Kart has so many versions?
I think he meant Mario Party? Those're just different games in the series with zero naming creativity.
I meant Mario Kart. There's the one with black case, the one withe red case, the one with silver sleeve and the one with gold sleeve.
I have a feeling they're the same game, one of them might be limited and bundled with a bonus disc. The reason i say that is because i had both pink and green copies of Resident Evil and they are identical when it comes to the actual game itself. The cover and the instruction manual slightly differ- one has the uk and the other australian game content rating. Same thing with Zelda Collector's Edition. The Aussie versions of Wind Waker and Resident Evil 4 are identical to Europe's but the Bonus Discs have a different checksum. For me personally i don't think it's worth getting all the different cover/manual versions if the discs are the same. don't get me wrong it'd be nice but i can't afford it Blue triangle is Italy?
The different mario kart revisions are all from various console bundles. I think I remember them as - Black - Retail game purchased on it's own from the stores Red - Console bundle copy Silver - Player's choice Gold - This was an exclusive pre-order pack from GAME in the UK There are many variations of Gamecube games that are not documented well and some that there is no info about at all. I did extensive research when I was hunting a full PAL set so if I can help please give me a shout. :thumbsup:
Pikmin, yes, blue is italy. Kiff, if you still have your games can you please check to see what they contain? Also, when i said silver i didn't refer to the plastic case, i was refering to the carton sleeve. I just want my games to be 100% complete. All i know is that the games made by nintendo come with a promotional flyer and with vip points. and i think all games made by THQ have registration card. I'm not really sure of that. There should be some kind of database or something...
Maybe the black and red should be the other way around?! That was jus from the top of my head. I don't have many GC games left. I got to about 400 and then lost interest but I am sure I will still have my release list somewhere that I was working on with a friend at the time. I'd be happy to help on any project for making a complete release list though; the GC still holds my heart :love2:
i have many versions of Mario Kart You have the Mario Kart and Zelda collectors that was bundled in a black one. Mario kart in a black case bundled but it stands not for resale on it. Mario kart in a black one later one. Mario kart in red that is in the same Gold overlay to mario kart that was Game only? Red one that i bought in the store. Mario kart as players choice in Australia only but they did send it in a black case with silver overlay..
