    Hello,

I modded my PS2 Slim today and was happy to see the Matrix logo on boot.|
With the triangle and circle button i can get in to the Menu of the chip.

But when i try to boot a backup PS2 game it shows me the red screen with the "insert playstation or playstation 2 disk"

i get the same with a PSX backup, but on boot if i hold cirlcle it will boot the PSX backup.
I read i can force PS2 boot with select but this also doesnt work.

I have a SCPH-70004 gh-032-64, i soldered all the wires accept for H, in the diagram it was not listed.
    I followed the V12 diagram,

If i solderd a wire wrong/bad, would it still boot the PSX game and the Menu ?
I hope someone can help me :)

sounds very much like you soldered a wire wrong or maybe a wire came loose?

    Hello

Andehx I think everything is in the right place.
I am just not sure if I used the right diagram I will check if nothing came loose but after soldering I taped everything up.
Bellow a picture of the work I know it doesn't look great but it is my first try

You need to solder wire H, You can see where it goes in the top left of this image:

Also, I would recommend using thicker wire for your 3.3v and gnd

I opened the slim up again and after removing the tape one wire was loose.

I don’t know if this was already loose or because I removed the tape, but I soldered it again and also the H point. Now it works like a charm !

It is strange that on the pal diagram the H point is not listed.

I am really happy it works now, thanks !
