help with SD Card

hello. last night i just loaded a game gear Rom (yes i own the game) onto my SD Card to use with Guinea pig on my tapwave. After i took out the card, it would not recognize in the device (yes, it has worked in the device before). at first i thought it was the tapwave, but i then loaded it into my card reader and it didn't read. any help?

 

Pretty clear case of a knackered SD card..? If it's not detecting in two different devices then you can be 99% sure that the card is to blame.

You need to use this program to format SD cards correctly.

is there any way i could get my card to work without losing my files?

 

this does not help. the card dosent even show up as a directory
