So I am trying to submit some games DAT files and such to a database. Anyhow they need this data and I not sure what is what on my disc.

    Box ID:
    Ringcode:
    Barcode:
Notes: 2352 RAW dump, using httpd-ack

Now I don't think the box ID is needed as BETA's never had a box but I want to make sure that it can't be obtained any other way. And which is the ring code and which is the barcode. And as for the RAW dump I use an SD card to dump my games not a BBA but I have dumped the disc with Dreamshell and DC SD card ripper and the MD5 match up to both rips and I have done multiple rips with DC SD card ripper as it takes 30-40 minutes only to do so where as Dreamshell literally takes 5-6 hours per GB of data. Any help would be great guys as I know some of the DC junkies here know what is what. Here is looking at you Dreamcast ad Family Guy :p

    Box ID: I don't remember that ...
Ringcode: It's a code printed on the inner ring of a pressed gd-rom, betas don't have it.
Barcode: barcode of the game jewel case (printed on inserts), as betas got no cases -> no barcode.
Notes: As long as you dump it in RAW mode (2352 bytes/sector) it's ok. I verified dumps checksums myself with dumps from sd-rip.

    Hope that helps!

The box id can be found under the Sega logo on the gd-rom label as well as on the spine of the case. It will usually be 12345 style for sega made games, and T-12345N for 3rd party. Its also common for the box id to be part of the ring code.

For betas the only thing you could really do is use the box id from the production version of the game, assuming it was released.
