Hi everyone, here to learn about this console modding thingy. i have an original Xbox v 1.6, my mission is to try and mod-chip it, bear in mind im a very late starter,lol. So im off to start reading the forum before i take the plunge and part with some cash. cheers folks.
You're also able to softmod it using a hotswap method as well as replace the HDD inside it, but you have an HDD limit. I do believe a modchip is better but I feel the hotswap method is far better. Oh and welcome aboard.
Hi yes I've already did that but buggered it up while trying to upgrade HDD. Forgot to backup eeprom Just thought I give it a bash, down the chip front. My stupid mistake but hey ho.
