Hexic HD XBLA

This was found on a devkit.
If anyone can work this out let me know (date wise). Also why it does not work.

Tried patching it and extracting it but it always crashes with the same error.
Here is a mini dump of the crash if anyone wants it.

What makes it crash i can not open your .dmp file ?
Do you not find it strange its 2010, hexic hd came out in 2005 ,hexic 2 came out 2007.
Why is this hexic hd dated 2010 ?

 

IDK someone might have the source to it and just built another copy or someone did some modding to it? i'll try comparing it to the retail version.
That dmp file is a standard windows debug dump so any tool that can open those should be able to open it.

Game crashes at boot at this address every time.

Strange, the build date of the link is 2005 retail. But i can see in your picture its the bigger xex that matches the size of the 2010 xex. They must of just updated the download with a retail xex..
Anyway thanks for looking at it. Was hoping it had the debug /cheats hexic 2 had.

 

OK so I messed up, I mixed the files from your dump and the one from that download
Sorry but IDK why this doesn't work then.

 

All i could see was retail xex load address is up the top and again halfway down the xex.
Devkit only has one load address at the top of the xex.
