I forgot to post an introduction before I went on and posted in other threads... my bad haha. Anyways I've just recently gotten back into retro gaming, as I was getting over the casual approach I was taking beforehand and decided to embrace gaming fully again. Over the last month or so I've been doing the rounds of game hunting and I've been spending an unhealthy amount of time on Gumtree and eBay, I decided to join this forum in hopes of learning my way around repairing and soldering and whatnot to take care of my systems and any others I find along the way, from what I've seen lurking this place is awesome when it comes to the matter and I've enjoyed reading up threads ( even though I don't know jack sh*t about it! ). I'm a proud owner of a bunch of consoles sitting in my wardrobe ( I'm in the process of buying proper shelving ) along with my games that I've recently just dug out of cardboard boxes also sitting in my wardrobe, I used to be a pro-Sega kind of guy when it game to retro gaming, owning a Master System, Megadrive, Saturn and Dreamcast ( sadly I sold off my Saturn collection, which I'm kicking myself for! ) but nowdays I've taken a liking to what Nintendo and Sony offered ( I don't think I'll ever go as far as to collecting for the Neo Geo...Intellivision... Atari Systems ect... ). Currently I'm in the process of gathering games for the Playstation 1, getting ahold of games I didn't play as a kid.... or ones I didn't spend much time on, though It's been a hassle as of late with the likes of hunting due to how inflated everything is down here ( not to mention tough buying competition... I can be a cheapass at times ). But um yeah! Look forwards to posting further on this forum and learning from the experts :encouragement:
