Greetings! the name is Julien , i was born in Paris France in 1978 and made my first contact with an atari joystick back in 1987 at a friend's home ... i've been into most systems the heavy way and got so much stories that i just can't find wich is the best pick as an introduction ... when my dad first bought us a Nintendo Entertainment System , my sisters and me argued big time over who would try it first ... to settle things down , my dad said "i bought it so it's mine , i'll be the one to try it first" we put super mario bros cartidge in for him , put power on , gave him the controller once we had started a 1 player game... he walked straight to the right skipping on the first coin , and when the very first one square hole showed up , he jumped right into it then said "it must be broken we should replace this piece of trash!" that's the last time my dad touched a controller
Ya that reminds me of when my parents first bought us our NES. My Dad thought it looked stupid, that was until we rented Tetris, then all of the sudden his interest was peaked. He first started watching out of the corner of his eye, to full on just standing there with his eyes glued. Next thing I know I come down one morning only to see that he is already there playing. Took me weeks to finally get him to get off the damn thing lol.
