Hi Fast approaching my 30th birthday and I guess my first real introduction to the world of video games was way back in my childhood, getting a NES at the age of 5 from my grandma. By the time I was ready for a snes my bio's were packing me of into the care system "THANKS" I got a snes as a parting gift... go figure.... owned many conlses and recently with my new partner been buying lots and lots of dreamcast games and dreamcast equipment. For me its the last stand, its the last time for me video games were just video games, pure unadulterated fun .... with of course online.... One thing that has still amused me to this day is Nintendo and their ability at stopping beta's and unreleased games seeing the light of day.... Zelda III on the nes for me is the holy grail of unreleased betas.... hope we have many interesting conversations on here regards Ashleigh "gaming chick"
<insert stereotypical girl on the internet joke here that nobody has laughed at since goatse.cx was taken down> You'll want to avoid the Neo-Geo and 360 sections if you don't want an aneurysm simulation.
awww bless ya's I used to be a member of the nintendo club in the UK as a young un, I remember finishing Zelda II after ringing the games helpline £1.50 a minute in the 80's! If i remember rightly.... or was it 85p....could have even been 75p.... anyway I remember a magazine stating that two further Zelda games were in development for the NES one of which was an added adventure to Zelda II and an official Third Zelda game with a whole new adventure.... Then a few years back there was the kid who claimed he had a Zelda III cart and then he got blown out the water.... "in case you was wondering I'm scatty, get easily side tracked and then forget what i was talking about...." I love angels and airwaves the movie LOVE by william Eubank is beautiful. Favorite game of all time.... Zelda Windwaker.... I pray to god for Nintendo to remake Zelda 1,2, "3" as would have been for the nes and turn them into one great big epic 3d game is cell shading, " just to piss off the ney sayers" I like boxing too.... I remember accidently building a boxer on the snotty nosed kids mega drive and the boxer turned green .... i was banned off the mega drive with claims id broken it as i kept winning??? meh... playing dreamcast is great fun, the games are enjoyable..... oh shit yea Zelda III anyone got any goss?
That Zelda III cart was just some idiot building up hype, he never showed anything because there was nothing to show. It was a clever ploy to get his website more attention, and considering I don't even remember what his site was anymore I'd say he failed at getting anyone to stick around, let alone remember the dump. The closest you can get to playing Zelda III is by playing that pirated one on Famicom from Waixing Electronics. http://cah4e3.shedevr.org.ru/dumping_2011.php Scroll down and you'll see it, if you don't know it already I imagine you'd probably have fun with it
Thanks for that Bramsworth I've just had a look and I can only think how cool it would have been back then if they had released the game originally intended... A link to the past isn't my favorite game, I'm not sure why but of all the Zelda games it actually feels like a stand alone adventure... I'm trying to find an interview with "check Spelling" Myamoto head of Nintendo as If I remember rightly he mentioned an unreleased game that followed Zelda II which would have been the flooding of Hyrule, which then left Zelda III to be a new adventure.... [h=1]Eiji Aonuma has his own idea's for Zelda and again I'm probably going to be alone in saying this but[/h] Skyward sword feels alien too! Time for some continuity I think, A Zelda II remake would be nice... and the follow up story included with the flooding of hyrule, "the Hero didn't come" Maybe the Hero was already on an adventure battling a certain wizard.... left hyrule exposed "ponders if Nintendo ran a dual story in the side adventure?" Ok enough about zelda I have my dreamcast..... Any zelda type games on that?
