Here's something you don't see everyday. This is a language program that uses flash cards on the screen to teach you either Japanese, Chinese or English. Not only is the software quite odd but it's one of the few discs actually printed as Hi-Saturn not Sega Saturn. I tried it in the Sega Saturn with out any problems. I may try it in the Hi-saturn to see if there are any differences later if I can be bothered to get it out. Yakumo
Cheers for the info. I've actually got 2 sealed copies of this, one I've been wanting to open to see what it was. Now I don't need too Its also vaguely interesting to anal collectors in that it doesn't have a spine, but was a for sale item. Usually saturn not for sale games don't come with a spine (ie Delisoba, Super kerin, Waltz etc), and for sale items do.
wheelaa Would you be interested in selling one? I have a friend who would like to get this and I'll not be selling mine.
Yeah. both my Satuirns have MPEG cards. THe Seha Saturn has a Victor MPEG / Photo CD card and the Hi-Saturn has the Hitachi MPEG card. Why? Is it different without the card installed? I didn't see any FMV at all. It says OSR-HMS-PF-DD A the outter ring is identical to a Sega saturn disc. Yakumo
Well, the most notable difference between the Saturn and HiSaturn is the MPG playback, so thought that might be why it had the HISaturn log on it.
good thought that but alas, no MPEG in the game at all. Still, quite a nice find having Hi-Saturn writen down the side instead of Sega Saturn. Yakumo
