i just got a new copy of tetris for my old and devoted gameboy, i think i've lost the other one, and i couldn't wait to participate to this contest. oh well, it's been too long since i touched this game, i suck at it right now! i just hope i won't take alot of time to before being able to be a good competitor.

would it be considered "legal" to play on an emulator? i'm asking since it would be pretty easy to fake emulator screenshots...not that i would do that. sold my GB ages ago and recently let my GBA go...

  3. Alchy already posted a score taken via an emulator. If you have the resources and the means, go for it, I'm just not going to offer support if someone's looking for the rom or anything. Scorewise, it's perfectly legal - I hope nobody would bother to cheat for something like this.

I don't mind if my score doesn't get counted, I think it's easier to play using a keyboard and a nice big bright PC screen than it is to play on the original GB. Kind of an unfair advantage.

  5. Well, the same thing could be said for using the Gameboy Player or Super Gameboy (which I used). I think, as long as the game is running full or very close to full speed on your system, it really shouldn't be a problem.

And Gamegenie or PAR just as an emulator...But...That would be sad for a 'Tetris competition.'

  7. As I said, I really don't think anyone would be pathetic enough to fake scores or cheat for something like this, so I haven't really given it much thought.

Anyways, the contest is now closed, posting the winners soon!
