Arrive in Narita on the 11th March, staying in Shinagawa, leave on the 17th! Ordered the JR passes, figured we might as well get them and do a day trip to Kyoto or somewhere further afield. Anyone in the area that week and fancy a drink/meal? Will have my step-dad in tow so won't do the "ZOMG where's t3h Geisha's/Arcade shops/used panty machines" thing, don't worry.

Count me in for any potential meet-up, I'm only 20mins away from Shinagawa (it's where I work). If your dad is in tow, then maybe Ebisu might be a better bet than Shibuya or Shinjuku.
