nice but nothing I don't see almost every week so the magic has gone for me, sadly :crying: Still, I do remember the days when I first came to japan with a regular hard on due to all the lovely retro goods and girls  Yakumo
Very common stuff that is overpriced in Super Potato? Super Potato is nice to see but there are better ones outside of tokyo...
more like very common stuff that is almost no fun to play and for which someone surely don't have to visit a potato to get it  i have to defense potato at some points. we do not live back in '98, where you can get almost any pce games for 100yen. also potatos only business is retro stuff. the others in akiba aren't that much cheaper and we have others which lying even 30% over potatos average prices. if you looking for a certain game, you can find it for the cheap or for the expensive either at potato or at an other store. it really just depends. it's easy. make a list, check all major retro-shops (potato, trader II, retro friends, mandarake, retro game..) and compare there prices and the games condition. then buy it, where you think you're gonna get the best deal. and as long gaijins from all over the world streaming to akiba day after day and buying their bellies full of (retro-)games, the present situation surely won't change.
I thought the exact same thing. They go all the way to Japan to buy the Japanese versions of a bunch of games they've probably already played. Lame. Why the fuck would you buy Super Mario World or Rockman X? Plus why are they buying Japanese RPGs? How can you really play a RPG when you can't read? I mean sure you can play it but it's going to suck ass.
OMG OMG JARPENEZE SUPER MARIOSS FOR ONLY 2500 YENS! Although, I know here in the states, "retro" actually means "shit, this is RARE do you have any idea how RARE this is it's 20 YEARS OLD noone else has these that's why this loose SM3 cart is $20." Although then I buy Earthbound for $10, because no one knows what the hell it is. One of these days I'll find M.U.S.H.A. ...
