I do. The game is amazing. One of the very few internet-enabled GC games, and the only one to be de-centralized, with one gamecube acting as a Server while others play from all over the place! (practically limited to Japan, as the title was only sold there, through a website) The game has two disks. A solo, and a multiplayer game, and the visuals will remind many of Wind Waker or Animal Crossing. I ve heard the best things about this game, and from videos I ve seen it seems like tons of fun. Being a TEST object, I would assume it refers to testing the online portions, handed out to public beta testers. All nintendo Development and Testing equipment is in two-color boxes nevertheless, eg: NR - Reader
Hi, I have just found this pages, I don't have complete kit, according to this photos : http://hokotate.cocolog-nifty.com/blog/2005/03/gc.html There are two versions of them : http://www.geocities.jp/playtown_domino5022/home/
Ok time to clear a few things up (^_^) Firstly the game was meant to be two disks but in the end it was released as one. Both versions have only one disk, at the start it could indeed be only bought online via chunsofts shop but later on they released it into shops too. You can tell which version is which as the chunsoft support number on the back of the box is a slightly different colour. (cant remember which is which though as its been a while LOL) Now the test version which you have came as two versions, one came as the game only. The other came with a broadband adapter. To get them you had to register yourself on chunsofts website & then you had the chance of been randomly picked. In the test version the online bit of the game is unlocked from the start, in the full retail version you have to complete the game once to unlock online mode. Also any data you save cant be used with the full version (well i havent worked it out if you can) Homeland is one of the most charming rpg's i have ever played. Its such a shame its so import unfriendly that i even made a walkthrough for it in english based off the japanese wikipedia for it. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/jasonmuir/homeland/Main page.html Still not 100% completed but ill get round to it someday.
Jason, i think the game is wholly decentralized. This means it can go online as long as you have friends who want to go online.
