Dear Forums, I never thought it would happen to me but it did. Someone broke into my car last night and stole my police scanner. Yeah, yeah, I know, shouldn't have left it in my car overnight anyway. Thing is, they didn't steal my GPS, or the change in the cupholder, or even the antenna for the thing. Made a police report, all that jazz, but I'm not expecting it back. There goes $100 out the door, literally. Now what am I going to listen to at work? That thing was better than any TV show, especially on the Florida Gulf Coast. We're on Fark every day for a reason you know... I was mad at first, but now, meh... It's just a thing. I can get a new one if I really want to. Hopefully it will come back. Anyone feel like sharing?
Scumbags. Recently somebody has been fucking around with neighbours rabbits, at first they just let them out. Last night they killed one.
I was going to say that sucks then noticed you are located in FL. So...yeah that's not an everyday thing in FL that's an every 15 mins thing
Some fucking scumbag 12 or 13 year old kid got into my girlfriend's garden at her folks' place back at her town, and stole her beloved rabbit. She was really, really sad for a long while. Who the fuck steals a pet? And at a small pueblo, where everyone fucking knows everyone else. People FUCKING saw the kid go over the fence, take the rabbit, and walk away. Still, nobody did shit. If this had been in Guadalajara, and not back in her town, I'd have been able to help look up the little bastard and string him up with his own fucking guts.
My friends car was stolen 2-3 years ago. When they found it the only things missing were a few spark plugs and the windshield wipers. Stereo and everything was left intact.

It sucks having something stolen from you. I've been there. That being said, I did find it funny that you filed with the police that someone stole your police scanner.
I had my car stolen once, a late model Accord a few years ago while I was in Seattle. I was at the gym and when I walked out my car wasn't in the parking lot anymore. I had to go into my gym and ask to use their phone because my mobile phone was in the car...heh. The only number I remembered was my old work number where my friend was, and he gave me the number to my roommate in Seattle. I had just moved back from Japan and didn't know any numbers, not that I would now with mobile phones the way they are. The police found the car a couple of weeks later with a smashed ignition but other than that everything was OK. It had out-of-state plates on it, maybe that's why the robbers ditched it. Easy to spot.
Got burgled twice... First time was back in 2003, when some bastard broke into our house and stole my Playstation 2 and Xbox, but NOT the Panasonic Q! All this stuff was NTSC, so it would have been little use to anyone back then. They also got some DVD's, my Nuon games, my GBA and a load of games for it, plus some trainers and other bits... Fuckers. Then we got done here back in February this year, he took my PSP 1000, 2000, camcorder, a crappy old iPhone 3G, some jewelry and some of the kids christening gifts - But this time the dick cut himself while breaking in, and got caught red handed in another place, this stuff got added to his crimes and he is doing time for it. Such a bastard when it happens...
