    Hello Folks,

    i have some questions @ horipadmini n64.

I have two of them, a black one and an ocean blue one (blue/white clear).

The first differenz i see is that the ocean blue one has an analog stick that is "clickable" like PS3 analog Sticks (an extra button? for what?), the Black one isn't clickable at all? Is it possible that there are different revisions of this analog sticks or controllers?

The second differenz is, the analog stick of the black one is very very easy to move (it's a new pad at all) but the ocean blue (used) has a bit more resistance to moving around, it seems smoother? Need the ocean blue some oil ;)?

Anyone have an idea whats going on? :)

    Sorry for my bad english.

It probably doesn't click and is just how the analog stick is made. I have some Gamecube controllers that seem like they can "click" the analog sticks, but it doesn't actually have that ability.

Thanks for your reply, i have opened up those two horis and of course the analog sticks are different, one is from ALPS this is the one with visible click-button, and the other has no info @ all and no click button! There is no differenz @ gaming @ all but it feels different.

My black one has a very slight click. One of my Gamecube controllers does the same thing. In any case, clicking it doesn't do anything.

Are you saying that there's actually a button inside attached to the stick? Or is there just a mechanism that allows it to click without doing anything? Seems kinda pointless.

Wouldn't surprise me if they got ones with a click because Hori makes controllers for other systems and another controller for the playstation uses the same analog sticks or something.

Their indeed a button on the stick but if you look at the pcb, the pin for the button is connect no where.

So yeah they indeed just used the same stick for all their controllers.
