    Hi,

I have a top loader NES 101 that I modded this summer with the NESRGB board. This setup worked perfectly with the Everdrive this summer.

Now that I setup the console again I get yellow horizontal lines on the display, the lines are still visible when playing games. I updated the Everdrive but the problem is the same. I rechecked the NESRGB installation and I am sure there is nothing faulty with it. So is the Everdrive broken, how come it worked fine 2 months ago and not now, I am bummed out because of this since I spent a load of cash at the setup :-(

Are you sure the pins on the Everdrive are clean?

I had a similar problem. Try to clean up the pins of the ED and cartconnector as the previous Poster sag. Nett you may try to usw a ground shielded wires for the video and audio cables inside the NES from the NESRGB-board to the Output connector

The lines are evenly spaced horizontally and are the same yellow color as the ED text. The lines are crystal clear which makes me believe it is not a problem with the cables to the RGB Cable. This system worked 100% 2 months ago and has been stored in a box since then and now does not work. WTF.

I tried a game and the lines are there too but now, not in yellow but in White.

I tried cleaning ED but the problem is still here. Sometimes I get "crashed" screen but if I remove and put in the Everdrive again they go away, but even with a scrambled screen I get the yellow bars. The NES 101 slot looks very clean, the whole system was in very good condition. Do you need to scrub the slot on the ED with a fibreglass pen for example? I know Action Replay card for the Saturn gets an oxidation layer that needs to be scrubbed off, that is why it sometimes do not work.
