わくわく！！ I'm creaming my pants as I type this :lol: NOt really but this is great news. What I think they'll do is add The House of the Dead 1 as a secret unlockable bonus :nod: I'm not too arsed about HOTD 2 since the Dreamcast version is arcade perfect and then some but having part III and if lucky part 1 (My fav') then the Wii is sure shaping up to be a decent system after all. I m really curious as to why they're not including the first game. Considering the pain that is Saturn emulation it would be probably easier to port the Arcade version (or even the PC version of HotD1). I m certain that if they intended to include it they d nail it as a bullet-point to further boost sales, so something's fishy here.
It's probably a graphical thing. They don't feel the first game is superior enough and can't be bothered to recode it.
too right. The first House of the Dead game is a must for the set. The Model 1 graphics still look decent to be honest. They could even do a remixed version but I'm hoping for a straight port. Yakumo
None of the gun games were on Model 1, I think you mean Model 2 (I think HOD was Model 2C), if it was on one then the characters would be ultra blocky.
Hell yes! Another reason to get a Wii, especially with us poor folk with LCD TV's that won't work with our old lightguns.
Well, you know, theres a version of the Nebula Model 2 emulator that came out a while ago that has pretty near perfect emulation of House of the Dead 1. Actually, it looks a good deal better than the original thanks to the anti-aliasing and increased resolution. Of course, you need a dual-core processor, and you use a mouse instead of a gun. Although, they do make guns for PC. Not that I'm promoting piracy or anything. ;-)
