I was downloaded FM Towns ISO and it has image disk in binary extension file "BIN". I don't know how can I write them in Floppy Disk by PC to use in FM Towns. If I use FM Towns Emulator, I can use disk image by mount them on. Thank you for your help
Yeah you can create all sorts of virtual fds and hds in UNZ. Handy when I don't want to dig out a towns, but fancy a towns only game. As for real hardware, well buy real games, simple. Otherwise there are a couple of programs out there that claim to offer 1.2 disc support in 1.44 but I don't recall their names, plus noones confirmed either to me as working well (i'll try and find out what they are again). A 3 mode fdd sorts out all the worries though. What game is it? (Don't say Xenon)
Thank for your information. I try to use OmniFlop that not work enough, because I take a long time to write FM Towns image disk. I ask the moethod because my factory have SMT machine which use Fujitsu FM R-50 and I would like to backup disk but It can not read on PC. then I will try to find software that can read bit per bit. Thank
You can also use a 3 Mode floppy: Ebay has a bunch of them: http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?from=R40&_trksid=m37&satitle=mode+3+floppy&category0= Your BIOS also has to have a setting to support it, I believe. Here's some info on the 3 Mode floppy: http://www.techarp.com/showFreeBOG.aspx?lang=0&bogno=89 If you have a way of archiving the floppy, The FM Towns can use a 720k(?) pc formatted disk.
I picked up one from yahoo auctions but the seller linked to this page to show the rrp. (page is a little different to when I bought it though so I don't know if its the same one or not) http://buffalo.jp/products/catalog/item/f/fd-usb/
