I want to be able to run the XDK dash on my softmodded xbox so i can do real time editing. Do i HAVE to tsop or is there something i can do without soldering?
Complex released a program so you can softboot into a debug bios, ive used it on a softmod xbox many times. Basicly you copy all the xdk files over to your xbox, run the app, select the debug bios (wich you must provide yourself) and boot right into the xdk dash. Check Xbins and there are some tutorials at Xbox-scene.
i have the bios and launcher but idk how to launch the bios. i tried using evox and choose the bios section but nothing shows up. i also tried BL but it wont load. once i launch it, the screen doesn't get a signal
This is the tutorial I followed to turn my softmod into a debug kit:http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/xbox-tutorials-138.html Depending on your softmod, you might have to find a way to circumvent the shadow C: A rescue disk can be used for that. Best of luck.
And to circumvent the shadow C, you can use forrrest tools, located here: http://www.se7ensins.com/forums/threads/bypassing-shadow-c-and-eeprom-backup.39883/
i just want to be able to use real time halo 2 and i nee to connect to a debug ip which is why i want the dash lol
The thing is, I don't use a Bios for the XDK, on my softmodded xbox. Just place the files and use Evo X to boot it.
