Many years ago, before ASSEMbler made the custom user class with the hideously unnatractive Bomberman avatar, in fact before the vBulletin boards altogether, he had the idea of having every Moderator using a Megaman avatar. I went with Knightman, but none of the other Moderators bothered with it and I kept it (for the most part) ever since
I just think Beaker & the professor without eyes are hilarious. In case anyone didn't notice, they're part of The Muppet Show.
This same thing happened to me one day. From there it wasn't my decision: (Nah, I just like Ape Escape. This monkey watches TV through his goggles, shoots heat-seeking missiles from a backpack, and reads my posts. Why not? )
With the size of my post count image it made my post ridiculously long, so it's just a 1x1 transparent image.
reminds me of baby hedgehogs. We took one in once and they're awesome animals but are plagued by fleas and stuff. They are however masters of backstroke.
Mine comes from me randomly exploring Halo 2 live beta... Sadly not as creative as some of the people here...
I chose my avatar, cause I felt it was fitting , because I am born the same year as the C64 came out. And to be exact then the C64 is a bit older than me. But also what has my avatar to do with the C64 ? well it is Giana from the game that became the eternal torn in Nintendo's backside for quite some years, and the music still holds to this day Chris Hülsbeck still rocks to this day, and so does the sound of the C64.
For me, this is the first forum I've been on with not only quite large avatars, but they're tall instead of wide! This gave me the chance to do a portrait-style avatar, so that's what I did. Went with a scene from My Ordinary Life because that show is funny as hell.
