So, around 5000 are in the wild. If the Ebayers buy them all overnight and get their crazy prices for them, $200 plus, thats...1 MILLION dollars.

I've seen ONE original copy in my life. And that one was brought from the U.S.

This game might have never been brought to Mexico.
HELL, even the bootlegs have a 90% failure rate (meaning most of them crash).

After buying it like 5 times, I was given a copy of a copy that actually works... and my PSX keeps failing. I eventually managed to get the B Ending, but I have never actually finished the whole thing.
It's on my To-do list, still...

.... and thinking correctly, it's already been four years and a half since that weird moment in my life when I shut myself in with all my RPGs and played till I couldn't, then some more. How life changes, huh?

If you want hard numbers, you might want to see if you can get them from the NPD Group. They number crunch the industry's sales figures, but I don't know how easily you can get the numbers from them.

How many games? Unless it's 40+, I don't want to hear about it... :smt030

It was pretty much FF3 and Chrono Trigger on the Snes, then FF7, FF8, FFT, I think FF9, Grandia, Lunar, Lunar 2, Valkyrie Profile, Chrono Cross, Xenogears, Wild Arms, Wild Arms 2, Suikoden II, Front Mission 3, Vandal Hearts, Threads of Fate, Vanguard Bandits, and many non-RPGs like MegaMan X4, Silent Bomber, and a buttload of Shooters.

Some of them I'm not sure if I played later, many I had finished before. This was started by finishing FF8 obsessively with everything and everyone on level 100 (while I was on finals week) in the beginning of summer of that year. Many of these games, though, I could only finish after the winter semester. No, I never missed a class.

Of many games, though, all I remember is being seriously deprived of sleep while playing them. Oh, and I got seriously high grades on most of my finals that summer when I didn't sleep so I could play FF8.

Maybe I should do that now with Graduate School and Work, huh?
