i used a prototype xbox 360 wired controller, because thats the only wired one i have. could get a retail from a friend, but would it matter @kiwi, it might be bricked, but this was before the big bricking wave, so im hoping its not, and just some error. Could someone with a bricked dev put in a recovery disk and say how the xbox reacts to it? like if the disk is spinning but no video, or what
I'm not sure about prototype wired controllers...I just know that connecting a wireless controller via a play and charge kit doesn't behave the same was a true wired controller does.
Can you connect to neighborhood with recovery in? If so I may be able to send some commands to your box that might fix it via teamview but if your box is not recognized in neighborhood and you have no backup nand your going to need to borrow a donor nand and without xell or cpu key checking capabilities you are fux0red.
alright, first time using neighborhood. so, i just plug it into a ethernet on my router, or should i connect to the computer directally
indifferent, just look that you have the same range like. Router:192.168.178.1-->PC:192.168.178.2-->xdk:192.168.178.3 or directally PC:192.168.178.1-->xdk:192.168.178.2
What is directally? If it was just once I would have said it was /directly/. But now its been used twice ?
would there be any benifit/posible fix to dump and reflash my nand. if so, how would i go about doing that with the sidecar ports on the points. do it on the bottom of the motherboard?
reburn your recovery dvd,i had a e79 today after a bad flash.(wich only did a little part when writing to the hdd,you know,in the 1st part) didnt boot after that and i had e79 even when the hdd was removed. it has a hitachi drive and i heard that it didnt boot properly from the disc so after 10+ attempts i decieded to use a different brand of disc. problem solved for me. just because something went wrong doesnt mean you whole flash is gone,it might not have erased all the data. if this doesnt solve it for ya,well then i'm out of ideas.
