My tool seems to be equipped with a DTL-T14000 CD/DVD Emulator kit. How do I use this?

I don't have the program, nor do I have my Tool networked.

Look at the entire thread I linked, local commands are available to control the emulator.
You will need to connect the Tool to a network to transfer files though, I will get you the software when I can, probably tomorrow.

I am assuming you mean post 11. That path doesn't exist on mine, I don't think it is configured correctly.

I now have the emulator running, now I just need to get the images on it running. Thanks anyways.

First thing you should do is backup the files from the various cd/dvd images present on the emu hdd, you don't know when the hdd is going to fail, it will probably be sooner than later...

how would I do that in a manner that doesn't require me to copy each file individually, There are 3 images on it and I can't seem to boot any of them. Here is the list:
WARHAWK (Seems to be War of the Monsters. identified by an intro video)
TWISTED (Twisted Metal, don't know which one though, I just know that many of the data files are named after characters from that series)
DVDEmuDiagData (What is this? This is the oldest image, the file inside has a date from 1999).

I think I am doing something wrong when booting them, I followed the correct procedure to create a test disc image, no matter what I do the disc images fail with the same error. For CD images I get this:
    *** Unexpected reply - type=BREAKR result=EXCEPTION
*** Target Program stopped. Check the location by dr command

The DVD image had another error that I haven't marked down yet.

I used the dr command and got a page long list of crash related info.

I think you have to copy the files one at a time iirc, annoying I know...
If you right-click on a directory, does it let you "extract" it?

Why would you create disc images when you can emulate the cd/dvd?
Have you tried the parameters listed by SilverBull in the other thread?

Your Tool must come from Incognito, Inc.:
    http://www.gamefaqs.com/features/company/46562.html

DVDEmuDiagData is probably a test image from the SDK samples to test the speed of the optical emulation, can you list/share its contents?

    Only on files, not folders.

That is the terminology the help file uses, the disc images are generated over on the emulator.

Yes I used those commands, my problem it seems is that CD images were missing the SYSTEM.CNF. I took a retail game and changed the executable file to point to the only elf file in the root directory. It boots.

I'm told that it came from Left Field Productions, something that is supported by the inventory sticker on both the unit and the DTL-H10040, the game (Score International Baja 1000) that was in the DVD drive, and where I acquired it (Culver City is an hour drive from Ventura where L.F.P. is). It seems that SCE Santa Monica has connections to both companies, that may be the connection.

It just contains 1 10MB file with mostly repeating data, looks like it may be executable code

BTW "TWISTED" is Twisted Metal Harbor City, now I have something worth pulling off of here, it is only a partially functioning build but this game seems to be unreleased. I'll be dumping this one immediately before I retest the others.
