About 10 years ago when DVDs were catching on here in the US, electronics store would sell these little clips that would hold your DVD case onto the wall as if you were displaying it like art or something. I never payed any mind to them. But now I've got a pretty good sized Gamecube collection, about 80 titles, and they all have their artwork and inserts and here in the states they came packaged in the same exterior sized cases as DVDs. So I was thinking that covering my wall behind the TV with all my game facing outward would look pretty cool. But I'll be damned if i can find a good way to do this. I tried looking for those mounts I spoke of earlier but i cant find a trace of them. How do you guys show your collections? (Ps. I hope I am putting this in the correct sub-forum)
Try here: http://www.mediashelving.com Thing is, displaying them in that way will take up LOTS of space... Personally, I do not have much space, so I keep them all bookshelf style to save on space. Unless it's some rare game or item which I have displayed specially.
I have 3 picture frame holders above my entertainment center. I change the games on display once a week. The rest of my hundreds of games are tucked away in the closet, under the bed, or in the garage. I know where any game is at any given moment, so if I really want to play it, I go and get it. I don't feel the need to display them ALL because there are only 2 people living in my house. My fiance and I. She doesn't care for my collection, and nobody who comes over would care either. So I just keep them tucked away.
