    Hello everyone!

I have a few PlayStation A/V cables lying around and I would like to use the connectors from those to make a PS1 RGB SCART cable. I saw a guide online explaining how to make a Wii Component cable out of 2 composite cables and thought something similar could be done with the PlayStation A/V cables.

The problem I'm having is that I can't get the connectors' hoods open to get to the pins. How do you open them? Do I have to break them open or use a special tool? I was half-tempted to saw them open and use tape to seal them again.

Anyone have a better, non destructive, idea on how to open them?

Most of them are molded. Use non-official cables they are easier to disassemble.

Ok. Thank you for the help.

Two of mine are molded and the other one looks like it snaps shut. I'll get some pics of them later today.
