Up until now, I've been storing my retro console's controllers and accessories in my TV cabinet's drawer (no messy controller cords dangling down!). But then, I brought a second Dreamcast controller, and well, this drawer is now full. So how do you guys store your accessories? I would hope it would be something better than "throw 'em all in a box" ;)

Usually tie them up and bag them. If they're extras and can be put into a console's box then they go in there.

Storage boxes are rather good too, not much you can really actually.

Man, I was hoping you guys would have something fancier than "a box" :\ Oh well, I think I can at least store one controller per console in the drawer, and put the rest in a tub.

I like to suspend mine in a bubble over a pit of lava.....

Seriously though, just put them in thier boxes or in a draw. I always wanted to make one of those giant NES controller coffee table's you see online. Stick all the accessories in there!

I dump them all into hard plastic storage boxes anyway in which they will fit and then piss and moan about it when I have to find a certain lead... is there any other way?

I think I saw a post here a while back where someone used a shoe hanger (hooks over the door with many sleeves) for their controllers. I used this idea as well. Holds 24 controllers but I think I need another one!

I have them cucked into a plastic box on my behalf. The analog sticks sometimes get busted this way. Then I piss and moan about it when I have to find a certain lead... I prefer to leave everything set up :(

I have a room that used to be a Balcony, and is now like an extension to my room.

I call it "The Bunker". (A certain novel I like describes the character's room as a "Cultural Bunker of the 80's", and it stuck).

I have drawers and closets and storage boxes full of stuff in the bunker. And generally, there are consoles set up to just pick up and play.

That's how I store my stuff.

And yeah, there's two drawers of leads and cables and whatnot, and one drawer full of assorted controllers.

When not in use - the Big RubberMaid boxes to keep dust and mositure free. I have about 40 of them with Atari, Coleco, NES, SNES, SMS, Genesis, PC Engine, Saturn, PS1, PS2, Gamecube, Dreamcast, etc.
