You kids and your Skylines. I'd be happy with my 4-cyl FTO :p

How rare are the 70s model Skylines in Japan? My dad has owned his since new.

Yep. It sucks. Ah well, the R30/31 coupes are still pretty interesting though.

I dislike every Skyline after the R32, 80s/90s styling was the business.

They're not uncommon in Japan - they pop up in auctions weekly, finding a genuine Hakosuka is very rare though. Even the base model C10/C110 are worth a mint over here, last one I saw went for $32k.

The CSP311 Silvia. Hand machined panels so no body part is directly interchangable with another car. Missed out on owning one a couple of years back by a $100 bid. Complete, one owner since new in Australia, every spare part imaginable. $7500. I still cry myself to sleep at night.

    Bloody hell that looks nice!

Another import i liked was the jzx90/100 chaser or mark 2. When the wife and i looked at imports she had guidelines. 4 doors, a big boot amongst them. Broke my heart when i popped the boot on the first jzx100 chaser.

Actually come to think of it, I think my dad had a 60's skyline not a 70's... I'll see if I can take a snap of it for you guys. I can't find any images of them on the internet.
