I know this is subjective and has a lot to do with a persons outlook, but I mean the times when something good happened or went in your favour without even trying at all. Basically just pure dumb luck.
HA HA HA how lucky someone is I'd say that I am not lucky at all... just totally fucked over all the time
The universe is against me! Every time I had something rolling for me in life, something totally unexpected and almost impossible ruined it.
I found a monkey's paw and put all my points into luck. Not only am I exceedingly lucky, it's also bites my ass harder than I could ever have expected. Oh whats that? A system I've been wanting for a while at a dirt cheap price? Oh whats that? The seller didn't ship it with bubblewrap and the corner has a crack in it? Oh boy a Slim Vita development system and I'm the only bidder for 150 dollars. The seller DIDNT wipe the system for me and it has a prototype game on it? Cool but it's a testkit so it's totally worthless in functional terms. Graduated high school and they upgraded their entire server room and gave me all their stuff for free, but it's from 2005 so thanks i guess.
Nobody is predictably lucky for the future, in the sense that gambler think they are/can be. This would violate causality. That said, you can be a(n) (un)lucky person a posteriori, looking back in your life. In that sense, I've been very lucky. I was born in a nice country, among a comfortable class, with the mainstream ethnicity, to good and supportive parents; so that's a good start. I've been in an healthy long-term relationship with one of my first girlfriend from highschool for over a decade now, which is a blessing looking at the chaos the love life of people around me can be. I also always did fit in with my school system, and I'm currently studying in a field where I can earn a living wage as a grad student and travel a lot, all (justified) expanses paid. Finally, I've got a dog which so happen to be the best doggo there is or ever was.
4 years ago I did. What am i going to do with a low spec 2005 server tower (and i mean low spec for that time) with all those switches and such. I salvaged some parts then did some e-waste
