How many songs do you have on your iPod/in your collection

Now don't count stuff that you haven't listened to.

My iPod has around 11500 songs. And yes I've listened to them all.

 

I have 70 gigs, with 13,500 files in my music folder (I'd guess that a couple hundred are album pictures, etc). And of course I've listened to all of it. Why would I download it if I didn't want to listen to it?

 

Having not actually checked in a while. I'd make a guess of about 7,000 songs.

 

Kind of irrelevant. I believe I have a 12 hour "song" (DJ Mix) which is about a gig in size.

 

I used to have about 80GB of music backed up on cds, but when I moved my whole collection to DVDs there was many music I wasn't interested in keeping it anymore so it shrunk to 50 gigs, more or less. I have all of it on DVDs, plus a 20GB HDD full of my favourite albums and some stuff I haven't backed up yet. I'd like to get an external HDD for all my music anyway, it would help to keep stuff safer and in order.

 

I have about 12.3GB/2,841 songs in my collection but thats just the stuff i've wanted and been bothered to download/ rip from my cd's onto and i'm sure i could have double or tripple that but at the moment i'm just getting stuff when i feel like it.

This doen't really count but i do have 15.GB/307 music/live music videos.

 

1700 MP3's of which 95% is ripped from cd's I own.

 

1870 songs. I used to collect every piece of music I could get my hands on but recently I cleared about 15,000 songs out and left only what I listen to regularly. Need the space on my hard drive for other stuff and the space on my pod for apps.

 

Roughly 6700mp3s. I just have gone through my list and saw what could be deleted as I was never listening to it. There's for example an album of the Japancore band Shikabane which is just unstandable. Same goes for Merzbow and his ear-destroying crap songs.
Favourite genres are Game Soundtracks (2250mp3s here), New Wave, Dark Wave, Metal, all kinds of Jazz, Electronic, classic Rock.

I've not yet listened to all of it as something is quite new, but maybe 80% has hit my head.

 

Why have I yet seen anyone say "im ROCK'IN THE BOX"

I am curious though if there are any 5.5G IPOD rockbox'ers here?

Anyway back on topic... the only ipod I have is a first gen shuffle 512... which I split partitioned for usb boot ( I call it my E.L.B. device [ Emergency Linux Boot ] )... so I only have like.... 30 songs on it lol

I actually don't have any type of mp3 player (no need really,) but if I get one it won't be an ipod, can't stand the interface.

 

I've got like 15 gigs of mp3s, and on my iPod mini I've got like 650-700 songs.

 

40GB, I forgot how many songs. 8000? I own all the CDs.

Now I'm doing the unthinkable...I'm selling the CD's I can get through the Zune Pass and keeping what isn't....then trying to get them to add it. I guess they do listen. Zune Pass seriously is cool.

How much music have I heard? No fucking idea. Way more then I own.

 

In my iTunes library I've got 6,977 songs totaling 27.59 gigs.

6,872 songs on my 30 gig iPod.

And I usually just keep a few albums on my Shuffle (1 gig).

 

52.52Gb (19 days worth), which is just under 6400 songs. I have all of this stuff on CD and never illegally download any material. I'm considering trying to obtain MP3s of material I have bought and had stolen (my collection of albums was pinched in a move a few years back - that's what I get for writing 'CDs / Albums' on the side of the box). It took a week to transport all the material from the Island I used to live on to where I am now and in that time someone helped themselves.

So, if I did that I'd probably double the number, but it would be illegal downloads so I have suffered in silence (literally).

Theres a few Game OSTs on there that I only listen to selective tracks and theres some stuff I only listen to now and again, I have a pretty good mix of genres on there. I'd probably say a half - 3/4 are ripped from my CDs.

 

Ouch, I don't know what I'd do if all my CDs were stolen, especially as there is a fair bit of rarer stuff in there.

 

I have around 800~1000 songs on my sony walkman (from game OST till Jazz). i'm not an everything listener, so I guess, 1000 songs is already a lot of good music I carry around!
