Have you ever wondered when you go to a Trift shop, Goodwell (depending if lucky), or a regular Retro local shop and you come across something weird like the shape of the cart (mostly Japanese carts sometimes) with a custom label artwork then when you put it in & turn it on there's just plain or fancy text menu with 6 in 1, 7 in 1 or 10 in 1 and curiously wondered how it is possible to fit ONE single cart with bunch of games to choose for your liking? Well i suspect you can find all of your answers here: http://ayasuke.exblog.jp/13227367/ A Japanese site that showcases some of special software of how multicarts are specifically made to be! Does anyone know if this is the same program that's used to make them?
I seriously doubt it, much more likely that this is someones hobby project. It's not that hard to make a multicart, you could probably do it manually with some knowledge of ASM and a piece of paper.
I'm not sure what you mean exactly. There are Asian pirate multicarts, licensed multi-game carts, and homebrew menu multi-game carts. That link has an old homebrew menu and builder I made mentioned, as well as the Forbidden Four one by a NesDEV forum member.
Oh sorry bout that then lol didn't know it was simple to make multicarts already um btw do you know which asian multicarts has the Super Famicom Japanese games inside?
Oh and thanks Mottzilla or fixing up that Gameboy classic flashcart software, seriously handy and only just realised it was you!
I really want to know how to make some! I've always wanted to make one. I own most of the SNES library but there are some games that are just too expensive and I am not a big fan of emulators.
