In USA there are 2 different types of first class mail. Regular one is cheaper and can only have mail that are: less than 1/4" thick (about 6mm) regular shaped and bends easily. The other first class is for those who do not meet the cheaper mail requirement. This one is more than 1/4 inch thick with bubble padded envelope but the idiot seller sends a bunch of caps via first class mail. So all those poor caps got caught in a machine and got squished. The inside of the envelope is very wet too. It would also explain why it was late, the expected delivery was Monday at the latest but it got stuck at Allen Park post office before it was finally routed to my local post office. Already contacted the seller with these pictures. What an idiot!!!! And I needed these days ago! Thank goodness Paypal bends backward for buyers so I'll win easy with these pictures.
LOL! Sorry mate.... For those things, I guess it's better to get them yourself in a specialised electronics store. (As half of the time you'd probably get sent the wrong item via mail too...) Better luck next time?
I wish I had access to electronics store, the nearest one I know of is about 2 hours drive away. Radio Shack are closer but they rarely have anything useful and the sales drone there doesn't know shit if it doesn't involve cell phone. I want Radio Shack from 1970's back!!!
Ive gotten caps in the mail like that loads of times without issue. That seems like your mail was mistreated on its way to you, regardless of if they could have packed it better.
Considering they leaked a lot, if it still worked it won't last long at all. If it was sent as first class package, they were hand sorted and they would be fine easy. If it was sent regular (cheaper) first class mail, they are run through machine for automatic sorting. Anything thicker than 1/4" will either get smashed in the machine or jam it. Seller tried to save about $1.00 by mailing them the wrong way and he is now out almost $3 to resend replacement plus lower DSR on eBay.
Sounds like an america issue. If I sent something in the post and it was smashed up like that due to the sorting machine, it would be the post offices fault.
